My story
This path began to be written long before it had a name.
1985. A path of service
At 9 years old, in my hometown of Chihuahua, I began serving at my local church as part of “Club de Puntito”, a children’s TV program that continued in the afternoons with kids’ clubs in homes across the city. I started out as a little clown, bringing joy and God’s message to children and their families.
What began as a way to serve at my age became a 15-year commitment that later continued in children’s ministry, teaching kids and training leaders to walk alongside them and their families.
2007. From working with children to working with their mothers
In 2004 I moved to Torreón, Coahuila, where I kept serving in children’s ministry. There I understood that many of the wounds I saw in children could not be cared for without also reaching their mothers, and from 2007 on I began working with groups of women.
2009. A personal process
God led me through my own path of restoration, redemption and forgiveness. As I went through it, I realized that many women were living the same darkness that for years had led me to depression and hopelessness. My own need to heal met the need of others.
2012. Te Lo Mereces Amiga
On a family trip the phrase “Te Lo Mereces Amiga” (“You Deserve It, Friend”) came up, and its initials became TeLMA: a reminder that it is Christ who makes us worthy of an abundant life. Around a cup of tea, women began to reconnect with their worth, their faith, their identity and their purpose.
2014. Ciudad Juárez
I moved to Ciudad Juárez, where the work kept growing through in-person and online workshops, forgiveness circles and retreats, and also reached institutions such as the Reto a la Juventud Rehabilitation Center and the CERESO Femenil #2 women’s prison.
2024. TeLMA, A.C.
On June 28, after 15 years of walking with women, TeLMA – Te Lo Mereces Amiga was officially established as a nonprofit.
2025. Mapa ACE is born
As part of my Master’s in Organizational Psychology, and from the union of my own healing, my training and years of accompanying others, Mapa ACE was born: a journey of grace and truth that brings together soul, body and spirit.
2026. Maxwell Leadership certification
I became a certified member of Maxwell Leadership in speaking, coaching and training.
